Linda's Story
After leaving Manchester High School in 1974, I attended Valparaiso University and received my Bachelors Degree in Accounting in June 1978. While working for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, I met and married my husband, Dan, in June 1979. In 1981, my husband was offered a broadcast engineer position at NBC in Washington, so we moved to the East coast; I was thrilled as my family had relocated a few years prior to the DC area, too. rs; needless to say, our one daughter, Christine (29 yrs.) and one son, Matthew(25 yrs.) are ready to explore life in another state, ha! Currently, I reside in Manassas, Virginia as co-owner of a small retail shop, Willow Street Decor, located in Occoquan, Virginia. I've been in touch with a few Manchester 1974 Alumni via Facebook; however, I think of many others I knew at Manchester quite often and wonder what they are doing, etc. I hope to make the 40th reunion on June 8th, 2013.
