Hi.. I hope to hear from a lot of old 'Forest Hill-ians' thru this!
Ok, so what have I been doing for 35 years?? I have been very happily divorced for the past 18 years, and have two sons. Kevin is 32, and is in construction; Andy is 20, goes to Hinds, and plays drums. I retired in December with 25 years at UMC (office manager...bor-ing!), and now I work at the Education Center School (still office manager... still bor-ing!!). My big love is writing!! I'm a songwriter, and do a lot of writing with a local performer named Hunter Gibson. And for several years, I did the "Spotlight Interviews" for MOJO Magazine, which was a pretty popul...Expand for more
ar music magazine around town. I really loved doing that, and got to meet some really cool people. I got to interview Tyrone Davis a few years ago (come on... dig down in your memory bank and you;ll remember him...) and now he's gone. So that's a special memory to me now.
Since a lot of my friends are musicians, I love going out to hear them play around town (especially on Sunday afternoon!), so I spend a good bit of time in clubs.... thank goodness I barely drink at all, or I'd go broke in a hurry!!
