Life After graduating from Millersville State College in 1976, I taught in Bensalem Schools(middle school art); then I worked with Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship as staff at Temple Ambler, Tyler School of Art and Beaver College;then we headed off for 8 years with our family to Morocco for my husband's PhD and post doctoral research and there I learned how to herd a cow, scrub clothes in a river, and other life tasks in a village on the side of a mountain in the beautiful High Atlas Mts. We also lived in the famous city of Marrakesh where we learned how to make good couscous, "jifaf" a floor and bargain for a non-tourist price. Moved to the Boston area in 1994. We started homeschooling overseas then continued it when we moved back as kids needed it for until 2007 when youngest entered high school(that one tired me out!) Living in New England for almost 17 years honed my snow shoveling skills, but I still drive like I am from Pennsylvania, which means I use my turn sign...Expand for more
