Linda's Story
I moved from California to Lake Tahoe in 1977 and then to Idaho in 1979. I lived in Cascade (a very small town in the mountains) until 10 years ago when I moved back down to civilization in Boise, Idaho. I've been married 3 times, have two wonderful grown sons and one grandaughter. I'm living single now in my own little house and loving it. I work for a disability rights organization. This is a great town for spending time outdoors, lots of parks and a greenbelt along the river. I go to plays, concerts, the art museum and movies. I'm really into photographry. I've done a lot of interesting things in the past 40 years - newspaper reporter and photographer, city clerk/treasuer, business owner, store clerk, waitress/prep cook, fire fighter, search and rescue, rancher. I was the director of a community theater group for 10 years. My parents (married now for over 60 years) are living in Nevada. My oldest son is an electrical engineer and lives in Spokane, WA and my youngest son is a real estate appraiser and lives here in Boise. I guess Long Beach has changed a lot - I haven't been back there for nearly 30 years.
