After graduating I went to Delta College for 2 years. For some reason, I didn't complete my studies at that point. In 1984, I took some business classes in Saginaw--I forget the name of the school; I took some computer class. But back in 1984 it was a very boring class, starting with having to learn the programming of the computers (bits, etc) It's been so long I don't even remember the terminology! lol....I didn't finish that class because my dad was transferred to Shreveport, Louisiana that same year; so we all moved down here. I quickly got into the workforce. Signed up with a temp agency that sent me on several assignments for the next few years. Went to visit some cousins in Dallas in 1986 and that's where I met my husband, Hector. We were married on Valentine's Day, 1987! Moved back to Shreveport from Dallas in 1988 and had my daughter, Valerie, in 1989. Two boys followed, Hector Jr. in 1992 and Joshua in 1993.
