Linda's Story
After graduation I moved to Williams lake where I laid down some country roots, This is where I started working for BC Rail in 1974. In 1977 - I moved to Prince George - where I learned to love Northern BC. I traveled the north for many years as a Sales Representative and later as the Customer Service Supervisor for Northern BC for BC Rail. In 2002 - I left the railway due to restructuring and having no desire to move to Vancouver, I continued in sales - working for Dare Foods and Corby Distillers (Division of Pernod Ricard)...Expand for more
- retiring this year at 65.
I have had the privilege of traveling to many places for both personal and business.- including Ireland and Sweden with Pernod Ricard.
My husband and I have traveled across Canada many times to his home province of New Brunswick, I wanted to move to New Brunswick when I left the railway but my husbands roots are firmly planted in Prince George and he has not desire to leave.
We are currently self isolating on our property outside of Prince George - waiting for summer to get out and enjoy our lives.
