Linda's Story
Hi, I am Linda Arnold, was Linda Gennetten, and Linda Reese, When growning up my parents lived in Boone, then we moved out into the country east of Boone, My parents owned the Boone cafe and pool hall for several Years, I got married while still in school to Marvin Reese, we had 4 children 3 girls and 1 son , who all live in colorado, but April my youngest lives here in mo. we moved around a lot, we lived in Boone, vineland, penrose, south of pueblo, missouri, indiana, utah, . My last move was to missouri where i currently live, with 2nd husband Ron, who has 4 kids of his own, 3 boys and 1 girl, and together we have 13 grandchildren.
All my brothers and my sister are still living, Carl still lives in Fowler, the rest live out here in missouri, lost mom about 3 years ago, but my dad is still ...Expand for more
living but in a wheel chair, he is 90 years old now.
My husband and i do a lot of fishing out here, we have a large lake just 30 min away, so we go as often as we can. we fish for crappie,catfish, and whitebass, ,
I would really like to have a get together of classmates for a picnic or something one of these times that we make it back to colorado.
Am retired now, i have worked many jobs in my life, from nurse aide,to waitress, worked for sutherland lumber and for 16 years worked for a wire rope plant here in missouri, we would get most of our wire from the steel mill in pueblo.
Thats about the sum up of my life, I was married 22 years the first time and have been married 20 years this time.
My health is still pretty good, i have type 2 diabetes but control it with diet and medication.,
