Linda's Story
Dear Classmates, you may remember me as the nerdy type who won academic awards but was a social drop-out and an athletic disaster. ;-)
After high school, I earned a B.A and an M.Ed., then worked as a Psychologist in both Edmonton and Calgary. My first husband and I moved to Vancouver Island in 1979 where I focused on raising our by then 3 daughters.
In 1986 he and I divorced. I continued working, becoming and Executive Director of a not-for-profit, then working for the B.C. government in their advanced education ministry.
In 1999, I married an American, Art Griffin, and moved to California. Since then, he and I have lived in Washington state, Colorado, and since 2011, Arizona, where we thoroughly enjoy the lack of snow, frost, and rain.

While in California, I made a major career shift to Real Estate, which became my favourite job of all. I worked until 2015, when I retired, and now my husband and I live in Toronto in the summer, and Arizona in fall, winter, and spring.
We have combined, six children and five grandchildren.
Activities I have loved through my life include choral singing (I sang for an exceptional choir in Seattle,) skiing, travelling, and golf, which we just took up when we moved to Arizona. We also have an Old English Sheepdog whom we love dearly.
And in my retirement, I am now writing novels. My first one is in the late revision stages and my goal is publication within the next year. I hope to see many of you at the Reunion planned for September 10, 2016.
