Linda's Story
What am I doing in my photo? We were on a cross country trip in 2007 and we stopped at Four Corners. This is the only point in the U.S. where four states meet. We look like we are playing a game of twister, but actually our feet and hands are touching all four states at once.
My Life Now
I am living in Maryland with my hubby of over 26 years. We moved here after living in England for 5 years (1997-2002). We have two grown children, Donna and George. My daughter, Donna is working as a Graphic Designer in Lancaster, PA at ThatPetPlace. George just completed his first year of college at West Chester University, my alma mater and he is serving in the Marine Corp as a helicopter crew chief reservist. He has a private pilot's license. en teaching Computer Science at Sts. Peter and Paul High School for the past six years. I also taught some education courses for UMUC Europe, while I was living in England. We have one cat and many fish, both inside and outside. I have a beautiful waterview home in Maryland, with roses, flowers and fruit tress. We have a docked boat that we try to go out on as much as possible. I love to go camping and crabbing and I still love to crochet. I had an article recently published in "Exceptional Parent" magazine, February 2004, entitled "Empowering the Impaired: A Guide to Assistive Technology for the Hearing and Visually Impaired." This was a very exciting moment for me when I was told that I was being published. I have travelled extensively through Europe in the past few years and have become an antique collector. Life has been an adventure since high school.
