Linda's Story

I'm married to my husband Doug whom I met in Lachine High School after I moved to Montreal from West Rouge. We dated through high school and University while I worked for various communication companies. I became a graphic designer then when we were married and moved to Regina, Sk. I became an electrical draftsman (person)! I became a stay at home Mom and have two wonderful sons who are now 32 and 30. retired, I probably never will ! I have kept busy through the years doing some design work, chairing PTA's,volunteering, decorative painting, quilting, sewing and needle arts. I am on the executive of Trent Valley Quilters' Guild in Trenton, Ontario and create the print work for our Quilt Show. This summer we bought a houseboat and plan to use it in the Thousand Islands for a few years to come anyway. Our sons are married to wonderful women and we have two grandchildren, 3 1/2 and 1 years old. I hope to travel with my husband even though he did it for his career for 35 years.
