Life I've lived in the York, PA area since 1979 after spending 6 years in Corning, NY with my first husband, who I married after one year of nursing school at Altoona Hospital, in 1973. We had a daughter, Steph, in 1976, and a son, Aaron, in 1978. I became an RN in 1976, and have spent most of my nursing career working with moms and babies. I'm in my 19th year working in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at York Hospital, and still love the career I dreamed of in junior high, back in the late '60's. Things have changed so much since then, both in my personal life and profession. My second marriage is in it's 17th year, and has had a few bumpy areas. Butch has had Leukemia (CLL Stage IV)since 1995, and has had several courses of chemo with different regimens and gone into partial remission repeatedly.
