Linda's Story

Life I HAVE JUST RECENTLY MARRIED AGAIN THE FATHER OF MY CHILDREN AFTER 17 YRS. I HAVE A BEAUTIFUL GRANDAUGHTER - THE LOVE OF MY LIFE- KARMEN RENEE HOLLAND. Well it has been 7 years since I wrote this story, and we are still married, still living in Gravel Ridge, AR. (just north of North Little Rock) My husband owns a convenience store out in the county in an area called Runyan Acres. It is more like a country store/cafe. It is the hangout for a lot of retired military. He serves a full breakfast and has a pretty good lunch and dinner menu, with Hickory Smoked BBQ as his specialty. I now have a 4 year old grandson. He is the sweetest little boy and has his Grannie & Grampa wrapped. His two older sisters (13 and 9) are growing up and becoming beautiful young ladies. 6, 2007. Hope to have another grandchild in a few years. Both of our boys still live in Memphis, "still the best place in the world." I am still teaching for Pulaski County Adult Ed. I work with the under employed or unemployed adults, 18 and older, teaching basic computer skills and advance Microsoft Office 2007. I really enjoy my job. My husband and I hope to start building our retirement home later this year. Hope to see everyone at our 45th reunion in 2009. Please make sure someone in the class has a current address and or email for you. Send them to me here at classmates. We just had the 45th and it was really great. I think all who attended were pleased and glad they came. I lost my husband in Feb. of this year, he had been battling cancer for about a year. I hope to sell our convenience store and move back home to Memphis.
