Linda's Story
School
I started at USC as a Journalism major, but lost the passion for Journalism during the Watergate period. I switched to Ancient History and Religion and graduated from USC in '76. My final 4 credits were completed at a summer program at Cambridge.
After one year at UCLA in the Masters program for Ancient Mesopotamian History, I moved to Texas for personal reasons. There wasn't much opportunity to pursue graduage studies there, so I enrolled in Computer Science classes at Corpus Christi State.

I moved back to California for a decade and worked for various software companies. In 1993, I relocated to Oregon to help open a technical support call center. Although it was supposed to be a 2-3 year gig, I have married and my family followed me to Oregon. And I'm still here - loving the NW.
