Linda's Story
Hi All:
After High School. I worked as a telephone operator for Ma Bell in downtown Palo Alto. From there I went into nursing at Stanford and after seventeen months, became a Flight Attendant (nee Stewardess) for United Airlines. After living in New York City for two years, I transferred with United to San Francisco. I immediately resumed a part time career in nursing at Stanford while continuing to fly. rs ago. I just celebrated forty-six years as a United Flight Attendant. I gave up my 26 year carrer with Stanford as we moved to Washington State in 1990. In 1993, my husband retired after thirty years with United and we moved to Florida in 1997. I am still residing in Florida, but am now based in Chicago where I fly o Beijing or Shanghai, China three times a month. I am hoping to see you all at our 50 year reunion in October.
