Linda Elliott:  

Graduated from H-F in 1969 and promptly went to Northern Illinois University in Elementary Education for one year but got married and moved back to Chicago area (Dolton and then Highland Park). Had three children - Susan in 1972, Jeff in 1974, and Mike in 1981. Did the whole PTA/PTO route; been President, V-P, Secretary and Treasurer of a variety of organizations and worked in the classrooms. Worked part-time while the first two kids were small, but kept going to school, taking two classes a semester. Moved from Highland Park, IL to Springfield, IL (living there for 6 years), on to Davenport, IA (for 6 years) and then to Colorado Springs since 1986. Finally graduated from college in 1994 after 25 years attending classes. Received a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Worked for an attorney on a part-time basis for 5 years, then an architectural firm for 8 years as their office manager, and am now self-employed as the Coordinator for a Women's Organization with...Expand for more
