More about Linda:"67 retired, married to Larry, the man I'm crazy about. We have 2 sons and 2 daughters all married who have blessed us with 18 grandchildren 9 boys, 9 girls, & they have blessed us with 7 great grandsons, and another boy to be born any day. It has been great that our married children & spouses stayed close and raised their families near us so we could be apart of their lives. They were all in western WA! Now one of our sons has moved to Georgia, makes it a little more challenging to see them. AND now we are watching our great grands grow, it has been a gift from our Heavenly Father and we do appreciate it! I am living where I most want to live. Excited to know Jesus loves me. Blessed to say I love Him. We have a full busy life. We live on the small dairy farm ...Expand for more
my husband was raised on here in Sequim. Our chlidren graduated here in Sequim, 9 of our grandchildren have graduated from Sequim , and our 4th generation is enrolled now.
In 1969 I was invited to church by one of my best friends, Patti (Cabe) Ward, I could not think of a good excuse to turn her down so I went with her. My life was changed forever, I have been a believer, a follower of Christ Jesus since then. Oh, yeah, I have failed ( I think I have perfected how to do it wrong, you name it) along the way, but, I have never given up and I have never been sorry or regretted my decision that I made that day. We attend a small church here in Sequim, Olympic Blble Fellowship...we love it!
A few highlights...we took a trip in 1978 with the family and toured the Western United States for 3 weeks in a small Tent Trailer, in 1985 the family took a trip to Alaska where my brother Pat & wife Susie lived & in 2011 Larry & I took a road trip for 6 wks drove 10,100 miles on our way to Dahlonega Georgia.
My bucket is full, no room for even a list.
I spent a couple of years as a lonely(divorced), maladjusted, aspiring alcoholic...Jesus changed all that for me and I am forever grateful. AND I am grateful to my family and lifetime friends who loved me through the bad years. Can I be anything but happy now, I think not! Praise God for who He is and that I belong to him!
