Linda's Story
Hi everyone,
I retired from the Boeing Company after 18 years in 2007. I have lived in San Diego, then.... went East for 6 years in Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia. I have been settled in Washington State now for the past 22 years. I was fortunate enough to have traveled back and forth, West Coast to East Coast 10 times and got to see over 37 of our very beautiful States. Thank goodness that the gas was a alot less expensive then.
I have been married twice, first to a Major in the Marine Corp, who happened to be in the barracks in Beruit, Lebanon when the 240 Marines were killed in 1983, luckily he was ok! Then I married Tom, a Navy gentleman (Senior Chief) who was in the Navy for 22 years. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2004 and made me a retiree Navy widow. Well life can sure surprise u sometimes. I got married to my husband Tim, on February 1st, 2016! He is ten years younger than me so I guess that makes me a cougar, lol! He is retired from the Air Force, yes, I like my military men! So proud of him for serving his country! U just never know what will happen to u in this life of ours, loving it!
My very special and only sibling (Alice) passed away in 2003, it was a difficult time for me and I will always miss her, I know in my heart God has his plans for all of us!
I have one son named Nicholas (Nick)(37)and his fiance, Kirsten, who is a very special person. He works on the 777 Wingline at the Boeing Company, I also have two granddogs, Courdoroy and Matheson!
