Linda's Story
In September 1977 I went to Camosun College for administration and began working at St Michaels University School from 1978 - 1985.
I have been living in Whistler since 1985 after a short trip to Europe ...
I did work in the hotel industry as a Conference Services Manager from 1985 - 1989
I have been self employed in Whistler since 1989.
I opened a retail shop in Whistler village in February 1989 - Creations & Delights with my sister Tricia.

well in June 2007 I purchased Mountain Blooms flower shop.
I love working in the wedding industry - however unmarried myself - - "always a wedding planner never a bride" ... but I am not bitter - much!
I have often wished to move back to Victoria - because after 23 years I really dislike the winters here ... but I am sticking it out to be involved in the Olympics.
I have been a Rotarian in Whistler since 1990 and was one of the first two women in Whistler to be included in this International service club.
