Linda's Story

Hi Former Classmates, It's been a long time since I've corresponded with you. Many of you I have not seen or heard of since graduation. Let me catch you up on what I've been doing for the last 48 years. I graduated from Morehead in 1963 and taught music in the Carter County School system for 30 years. I retired in 1999. I got married in 1962, had 4 children, 2 of each and now have 8 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren. I lost my oldest daughter at the age of 12 in 1977, my dad in 198...Expand for more
9 and my mom in 2006. I have served my church as worship leader for the past 25 years. My husband, Dick, was the minister. He passed away in June of 07. My life has been filled with many happy moments tied in with a few sad ones. I'm thankful that God has blessed me with many friends. I'll never forget my days in Magoffin County and my school friends. Let me hear from you as I am planning a reunion for 2010. (Can you believe it's been that long?) Love to hear from you. LINDA M.
