Life After graduation I delayed going to school and got married. I moved to Newport News, Virginia and later returned to Forest. I have 3 beautiful daughters and all of them are over 20. Unfortunately, I got a divorce and had to re-evaluate where my life was and where I was going. Enrolling in school was scary as 26 year old student, but it was what I needed to do for me. As my youngest daughter turned 6 months old, I decided to enroll in Nursing school. Initially, I was an LPN and worked for one year at University of Missippi Medical Center. I continued to go to school and became an RN and worked at UMC for 7 years. I worked nights for 7 years and that became a little tiresome. I learned so much and saw so many things while employed at UMC. As a result of the hours and my three daughters being in school, I took a job in Forest at a dialysis unit for about 3 years.
