After graduation, I went to Bryman School for Medical Assisting. I worked for a Dr. in Reno for about a year and decided Reno just wasn't my kind of place (especially when you're under 21). So, I relocated back to Orangevale and began working for a Dr. in Folsom where I stayed for 8 years.. During those 8 years I met and married Dennis Stafford who was also a BV graduate ( 1966). We had a golden opportunity for work in Colorado, so off we ventured for new experiences. which we stayed for a couple of years. It was fun but NOT home to us, so we came back and settled in the Orangevale/FairOaks area. By now we decided it was time to start our family so not long after, I had my first son. I quit working,and became a stay at home mom until he was 1 yr old. I wanted to try something new so I went on a job interview at a dental office. This dentist was a new guy in town and just starting out so he offered me the position and taught me front and back office. I really enjoyed this new endeavor but I missed my old job terribly.
