Diania's Story
My family and I moved to Ceres during the last month or so of my 8th grade year. We lived in Livingston prior to moving to Ceres and owned and operated the Richfield Gas Station and the Recreation and Bus Stop there in Livingston. We lived out on a farm with lots of animals and I truely believe that was the best time of my life. Growing up on a farm I think was the best thing. I only wish I lived on a farm when my daughter was growing up and now while my grandson is growing up.
When I got out of high school I started working for the City of Ceres but then met my first husband and ended up playing stupid, got married, lost my job and had a beautiful baby girl at age 23. I soon learned the first marriage wasn't right so I moved on, moved home with parents, got a divorce, started school at MJC and got a job with the County. I managed to purchase my own home as a single working parent without the help of my first spouse. One year after I purchased my first home I met my current spouse and married after three months. I still work for Stanislaus County Mental Health as a Conservatorship Investigator and my spouse works for the State of California as a registered nurse in the prison.

d of July '08 and he is the light of my life. I recently lost my father after a long illness and am having to take care of my mother who is becoming very forgetful and dependant. Between work and my home life I don't have much time for myself but do like to travel and camp. Looking forward to possibly retiring in a couple of years.
I'm also a Princess House Life Style Consultant if you are interested in Princess House Crystal let me know. They have some great new items.
Well a lot has changed, I'm retired from Stanislaus County 2years ago and have four grandchildren. I have a grandson who is 6 and three granddaughters 4, 2, and 18 months. My daughter is working now so I have her three children all week and we have had our youngest since she was born.
On June 24,2014 my mother passed after suffering from Alzheimer's and a bad fall in the care home where she had resided for approx. a year and a half. when she fell she busted her head open and according to the doctors she had internal bleeding but was unable to determine where. She passed away about a week after her fall. I thought I could handle this loss easier but not so. Now I have both parents togetherness again and never forgotten. Love them so very much and miss them even more.
