Linda's Story

Busy month - again. We took a break and went to Atlantic Beach for a week - beautiful beaches, lighthouses, weather. Had the privilege of seeing our oldest grandchildren on their way to DC and NYC. Our oldest, Evan, spent a week with us along with his dad. Tom Sr., Rob and Evan spent Friday bike riding the Creeper Trail. Everyone gathered for dinner here Friday eve before heading home Saturday morning. Tom and I have been having fun rehearsing a skit for ICU nurse training at the hospital. We play siblings arguing over care decisions for our aging father. It's fun because we never argue...Expand for more
in real life. The only problem I foresee this week when we actually present the skit (4 different times) is not bursting into laughter at our own antics. We are chaplains at the hospital and truly find it a great blessing. Tom also preaches on Wed. evenings at an assisted living facility here in Bristol. We are excited about having his sisters visit beginning this weekend. We will be attending the Celebrator's Conference in Sevierville which is always great. Judy will finally get to meet David Phelps in person! Hope you are all having a wonderful autumn an enjoying God's blessings.
