Linda's Story

Moved to Arizona after HS graduation. Attended Cosmetology School. Worked at it long enough to know I needed to go to college. Moved to Alaska with my husband in 1983. In between marriage and 2 beautiful daughters, I attended the University of Alaska in Anchorage where I have been for 27 years now. ve 3 lovely granddaughters, 2 in Anchorage and 1 in Portland. Still happily married. Raise, breed and show dogs for a hobby. (more of a passion) Own Shelties and Borzois. Planning to stay in Alaska forever. Love it. Planning to retire from teaching in 2 years. Hope to start a small home catering business to support my dog show habit! Of course, dog shows will be a big priority.
