Linda's Story
I moved to Wisconsin and had two sons, Jim and John. I lost my oldest son, Jim in 2002. His last remark to me was that he wanted to make a difference- we started the James E. Marshall, OCD Foundation dedicated to Awareness, Discovery, Cure. We have raised almost a million dollars for genetic research for this disease and work with Johns Hopkins Hospital. I also have a cosmetic company - Elysee Cosmetics. My Mom sold the products my whole life and in 1972 we bought the company. We manufacture our own products and my son John is my Chemist. My son Jim's wife, Jenn, is my right arm. We sell in Salons, Doctors Offices and on HSN and the Canadian Shopping Channel. We have also developed fragrances for Dionne Warwick and Stephanie Powers. I have traveled all over the World with both of these lovely ladies. I have one grandson, Ryan, Jim's ...Expand for more
little boy, and Jadyn who is 13. I keep very busy with my family and my business. These are my top priorities. We are currently getting ready to market in Europe and Australia. My friendships from Dugway are still very special to me. Our Class Reunion this past Sept was so special to me. The Photo I have posted was taken on Feb. 12,2008 in New York at the Fund Raiser for my son's Foundation. From left to right - my son John, Scott Beattie, Pres Elizabeth Arden, and one of our Honorees, Me, my daughter-in-law Jennifer, Soledad O'Brien, Jadyn, Marc Pritchard, Pres of Proctor & Gamble and former Honoree, Chuck Townsend, Pres. of Conde Nast this years other Honoree and my precious grandson Ryan in the Front. I think growing up at Dugway has always influenced my life because of the special friendships we made and are so dear to me to this day.
