Linda's Story

Life I had no idea what I wanted to do or be when I graduated from Arcadia High. I did immediately go to work at Western Federal Savings in L.A. working my way up from insurance clerk to loan closer. I married at the age of 21 to my husband, Jerry,(am widowed now) had two children and then moved to Texas. What wonderful people there are in Texas, which is smack in the middle of the Bible Belt.I became a Christian there, & my life changed forever. After returning to California in 1976 I changed my career from financial institutions to manufacturing. After being treated for my A.D....Expand for more
D. through EEG Neurofeedback, I was able to focus "like other people" and am now an assistant manager in Human Resoures along with handling Accounts Payable. I have 8 grandchildren whom I dearly love. I take care of my sister, Anita, who is doing well with medication that was not available in the 60's. I am now embarking on another career now that helps children, as well as adults, who suffer from ADD and related disorders. Life is good. Especially when you apply yourself and do not give up. And of course, I have the hole in my soul whole with the fulfillment of the Spirit of Christ.
