Linda's Story
I am married, have 3 daughters Bonnie, born in 1973 passed away in an automobile accident 3 days after her 18th birthday in 1991. Carrie who is now 34 and owns her own beutician shop in Auburn CA, and Katie who is 22 and also works in Carrie's shop as a beutician also. Carrie is married and has 2 daughters. Katie is married and has a son and a daughter (to be)due in August 2009. My husband Donn and I live in the Sierra's on 20 acres overlooking Lake Tahoe's snowcap mountians. It is beautiful here and the weather is great. I do miss Illinois though. My mom still lives out there on Harmony Lane. She is finally going ...Expand for more
to retire the end of June 2009. She just turned 80 in May. She is a hard worker and I miss her more than anything.
Now going back a bit
I had 2 twin sisters, Jane who died at 3 1/2 from measles (when I was 7) and Judy passed away at the age of 15, when I was 18 (in 1973). Both twins were in wheelchairs (handicapt with decreasing muscle tone)She had so much spunk and showed me the importance of kindness, sharing, and appreciating what you have. Life has been very difficult, many times in my life, as I look back I can see how God has given me much compassion for the less fortunate. And the desire to keep plugging on.
