Linda's Story
Life
I'm really Linda Salvucci "Salvuch". It's been a good life! I miss all of my old grade and high school friends, a few of the Donna(s), Debbie, Nancy D., Nancy C., Annemarie, Aurora, Sue, Linda C., Dev, Joanne, and GOD, I can't fit the names of all because there's too many to list! I'm a Commercial Credit Mgr., have two kids, ages 23 and 12. Live in Egg Harbor Twp., New Jersey, 10 minutes from Ocean City. My son Dominic "Mickey Luv" has done some modeling and car sales. Nick is an Xbox live freak and played Soccer for the township team for awhile. I "try to make the most of it" in life...if you are alive then life's good. I think about going across the street from Hubert's for fries, a soda and a smoke with so many of you. I can still see us in those uniforms. Cracks me up! I miss the Father Judge dances, hangin out in Mayfair, Lincoln kegs in the field, St. Ladislaus and St. Jeromes. I hate New Jersey.
THE REAL LIFE OF ME IS...IN THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS SINCE THEY WERE "STORY WIZARD" IDEAS OF WHAT TO ADD HERE...
How do I blow off steam & relax? I don't...maybe run away or hide under the covers but usually just keep moving...isn't that brave? LOL
What was the wildest thing I ever did in school? Hmmm, I'd say at Hubert's in Chemistry class...a few of us did something "70ish" and we all looked at the teacher and eachother, laughed the entire time without saying a word...all I can say is our eyes were bugging out of our heads! I don't miss it but it was wild.
My work reqirements are: If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have my salesmen to stop calling, the bosses to stop asking "me", and coffeeeeee to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
Who is my hero? I had a hero and that was Joey P. from Mayfair, like a big brother, one I never have had, he gave me protection in the 70's R.I.P...all my other ones are gone too...my MOM, all the friends that I left behind...so I need a new hero...just can't seem to find one except in memories. y life, so I guess that's why I've stayed put since 1984...in Dirty Jersey as one of my old friends recently put it. I hate JERSEY.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again are all of the St. Jerome's & St. Hubert's girls.
What's been your biggest surprise? Keeping in touch with loved ones and others no matter where they are.
This was another "fill in the blanks" If I could improve my home, I'd REMODEL MY LIFE and add on A FEW STATES. My dream home would be FAR AWAY FROM HERE. Country roads would take me home.
This one was interesting...Parent? Share what you've learned from your kids. I think this Classmates thing is starting to get strange. Hmmm, I've learned A LOT!!! I thought that my life's lessons would enable me to see the freight train coming with my oldest son...he's been in his terrible twos and he'll be 25 but I love him. With my younger son I guess
God said "she's old so we'll cut her some slack".
Which teacher would you love to see again? Why?
I'd love to see the Principal from St. Hubert's, she wore Patchouli perfume and you could smell her coming. I'd like to hit "her" in the knees for "her" uniform/Nun's Habit Clothing for being too short or grab "her" by "her" hair. That sounds bad but it's only a thought...I'd also like to see Mr. Dingwall again too so I can thank him for giving me the extra work of college Psych courses when I left Hubert's senior year and went to my first public school. Jeez they were so behind us Hubert girls and we didn't even study at Hubert's. Actually, I waited on him when I worked at the Comedy Cafe' but we never talked school. I was 21 by then. We had drinks and I never did get to thank him.
If I won $100 million? Well, I'd give some of it to charity, a medical research cure, some to my family and the rest on a private island or valley and live there with the wildlife and tame ones I already have. I'd just stay there until I died and believe me it would be with a smile on my face. This is too long to do...have things to do. CAIO for now!
