Today is August 19th and date that's in my heart for different reasons. August 19, 1949 I welcomed my baby sister, Judy, into our family and August 19, 2002 I said goodbye to my sister, Kay. Oh, how I miss them.

Today is my granddaughter, Allison Kayleen Abbey, 23rd birthday. Went to Allen to have dinner with family and her friends.
Mahoney Methodist Church started in 1919 and homecoming and dinner on the grounds started in early 1950's. There is a cemetery right next to the church that is final resting place for my family, my mom &dad, my sister Kay,

Spending time with special girls in my life, my daughter Lynnette, granddaughters Payton &Allison and niece Wisty Cooper. Earlier in the day we said goodbye to my granddaughters grandfather Art Abbey that died last Saturday.
1 hr wait time at Chuy's and it's hot. Celebrating my granddaughter, Payton Abbey, 26th birthday. Also joining us is Chris,Lynnette and Greg Abbey.
Wallace and I are at Fair Park Music Hall for the production of Betty Buckley, Hello Dolly. Cool way to spend a hot Saturday afternoon.
