Linda's Story
Hi!
After graduating from Parkrose I also graduated from MHCC and then Southern Oregon University with a degree in teaching. I have now been a teacher for 32 years. Where did all of those years go. In 1981 I married a high school teacher from Eastern Oregon. We eventually settled in Ontario, Or. It was only supposed to be for 3 years - yeah right! 24 years later here we are. Brian died in 1997. I chose to stay here and raise our 2 girls. I don't regret it one bit! Small town life is for me. I have taught various grade leve...Expand for more
ls but have settled into kindergarten for the past 17 years. I love the the little guys.
My own daughters are both grown now. One graduated from OSU and the other from UW. Right now one of them is living at home while she is attending school again to become an occupational therapist. The other lives in Seattle and works for a non-profit. I am very proud of both of them. Where did the years go?
I enjoy reading, gardening and traveling.
I still try to get to Portland now and again as well as to make it to the beach each summer.
