Linda's Story

I'm now retired, but spent my working years in the "people" professions. Retired seven years ago as the Coordinator of Assisted Living at a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Evanston, Illinois. I miss the people, but not the emotional drain. I have four wonderful kids (2 of my own and 2 step-daughters) and a parcel of grandchildren (15 in all) who are what gets me up in the morning! Being a gran...Expand for more
dma is a daily high! I've been married to my second husband for more than 33 years and (hopefully) will be for many more. Life has thrown us a few curves, but we've overcome the trials and become better people because of it. I'm proud of who I've become and have earned the respect and admiration of the people who matter most to me. I can't imagine being in a better place than I am right now ... life is good!
