Linda's Story
After graduation I went to work in a lawyers office and then went to work at Kings Park Psychiatric Center doing secretarial work and stayed working there until I retired in October 2006. I lived in Suffolk County most of my life. I got married in 1974 and have been married 34 years. My husband was a NYC Transit Police Officer and retired when they merged together and has been retired since 1994. I have 4 children - 3 boys ages now...Expand for more
31, 23 and 17 and one daughter age 28. I have 2 grandchildren Alexis who is 5 and Jordan who is one and was born on my birthday. I moved to florida after I retired as my entire family was here and it is a little different then New York and the weather is a lot nicer. I miss New York at times but 2 of my sons live there so I go back and forth. I never have anytime for anything anymore so I don't know what I did when I was working.
