Linda's Story
Life
I'm currently living in San Antonio, Texas with my husband Rusty, whom I met at U. of AZ. We have 2 daughters, both married, & three grandsons & one granddaughter.
Other than family, my passions are horses (still!) and travel. I'm retired from hospital lab work/administration & med. research admin. Rusty retired from the Army in 1990 and will retire as a residential realtor as of Jan 1, 2015. I do a bit of volunteering with various organizations & have taken up sewing/quilting, knitting & crocheting, which I hadn't done since I lived in Superior. I still enjoy ...Expand for more
anything outdoors, too.
I've made 5 trips to Uganda, about a month each, working with missionaries who are working with orphaned children. It's very much like Hawaii there & it is a delight to work with both the missionaries and the children.
I've also been fortunate enough to visit Japan, London, France & Turkey. I hope to do a lot more traveling before old age slows me down!
