Linda's Story
Since I left high school, I've gotten married to a wonderful man. Some of you may remember him as we were dating when i was a senior. We have 2 beautiful children, and currently run Weeks Construction in Whitefield. 3 years ago i decided to try to become a singer/songwriter. Those of you who know me know me as a very shy person... so the singing didn't do much, ayuh i get wicked stage fright... any how, I still enjoy singing, and i continue to write country music.
In 2006, I entered a talent show in Nashville, Tennessee. You know, i didn't win, but I had the time of my life.. I danced on the bar at Coyote Ugly ( with my oldest sister, and there were only like 4 old people in the bar.). I also sang in the 2007 Talent show on the Gardiner water front put on by Johnson Hall. I sang my song " Icy Cold Rain...Expand for more
". I have a few songs published, and many demos of new songs to come.. now if only a big producer would pick me up! I wasn't fortunate enough to have the $ some of my peers did, so i only went to college for a few months. I may not have a big degree in whatever, but i have what counts. Family!! My bros & sis's, & dad. and my hubby's family.. my hub & kids are the best, and were very understanding with me when I thought i needed to quit my job to have some me time.. that was also 3 years ago. I now am a stay at home mom, and i love it.. i feed the chickens & cows, and take care of the family things. I do however miss All my friends who by the way never call or visit!! Tammy & Michelle....
