Linda's Story
Most likely, nobody even remembers me, I was that shy shrinking violet, always in the background. I got married, raised two girls, lived in Singapore, near Chicago and today am living on 40 acres in Powell, WY, about 75 miles from Yellowstone Park!
An elementary level teacher, right now I'm substituting while working on an English Language Learners Endorsement as well as an Associate Child Development degree. Have had my own quilt making business and children's birthday party catering business and am planning to attend classes in art and social sciences at the local college, becoming endorsed to teach those subjects, and will return to earn my Mast...Expand for more
er's in curriculum design in a few years-can't seem to stop learning-it's like a sickness-I'm sort of a professional student as well as a teacher!
Would love to reconnect with anyone that might remember me, and if you ever visit Yellowstone, I would be happy to be your tour guide!
Love to hike, horseback ride, create some sort of art, work on a quilt, paint a room, build something, learn something, explore a new place...
My first job was at Baskin and Robbins, where I got paid a little bit to scoop icecream and make sundaes. What I remember most about it is how smelling icecream made me not want to eat it ever, but I have gotten over this revulsion!.
