Linda's Story
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. I taught preschool and pre-k for several years. After I got married and had two children back to back, I took a break from teaching and went into full time motherhood! I home schooled for awhile, then went into retail for several more years! I can't decide which one I loved the most! There's alot to be said about adult interaction.
To relax I love to read, or fish or just sit in a park...praying helps alot too!
My inspiration comes from the Lord, the maker of Heaven and earth. I became a Christion at age 21, I wouldn't want life any other way!
I've spent the last 4 years working for a major Bank..."been there done that" and I'm not sure I would ever go back...being robb...Expand for more
ed at gun point (twice) is not my idea of a good day at work! The weirdest job I ever had was probably traveling with a carnival, not surprising though, I did some pretty crazy things back in those days. When I was 14 and my sister was 16, we ran away from home to Oregon to join a hippy commune, we were gone for a month!
I share my home with my kids , which I find good and bad. I love having them around, especially the grandkids, but it leaves me very little alone time, which I really treasure!
I'm sure old friends remember me as being a party girl and boy was I...I loved to have fun and still do, now just in a different way! But I would want my legacy to be more about the person I became,ie; a good mother, friend and person than the girl I was in school...I grew up and I like who I became! Thank you Lord!
