Linda's Story
Upon graduating from Trinidad High School in 1978, I got married in Nov. 1978, then moved to the Western Slope of Colorado. I moved back to Trinidad in May 1983 and currently reside here. I have two wonderful children, a son who is 28 yrs old named Lucas and who is a graphic designer (freelance) and a 7 yr old daughter named Lynzee. She is my surprise baby... (long story)..Needless to say she is a handful and keeps me quite busy. I am still currently married, but dont know how long that will last anymore..now thats another long story.. I am a proud MOM who loves her children.
Parenting sure is different this second time around... sighs..
In 2001 I decided to go do something with my life and went to work for Head Start. My position there was a Family Service Worker. I decided to resign August 2008 and take a year off to spend some time with my daughter since I really wasn't home long enough to be mom. Now that my daughter is now in school and is adjusting to school I have gone back to work again at Head Start and am currently the Family Service Worker Supervisor. I am looking foward to my new position and the new challenges it brings.

rson not only in my private life but in daily life. I am a hopeful romantic and yes I do believe in fairy tales.. Love is out there, might not be with the person you are with but its out there!
My hobbies include: reading, crafts of different sorts, watching movies, eating out with friends, entertaining, chatting online, and numerous other things.
I have been blessed with amazing close friends who I share my life with and also family who are a wonderful support in difficult times.
My best friend is Loretta Torres whom I love as a sister, we go back as far as 5th grade and training bra's...haha, now thats a best friend! To this day she has been a wonderful part of my life and family.
I hope my classmates will remember me as being outgoing, friendly and witty....
If I could go back to my life and redo things, how different my life would be now with the experiences I've had and what I have learned. Unfortunately, it has taken me a long time to discover what really makes me tick! But I love what I see and what I am learning about ME!
I will close with this quote that I absolutely love:
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away".
