When it was time to put future plans in our yearbooks, I wrote "marriage and theatre", and I was forced to choose one; I chose "theatre". Good thing! The marriage (remember Julius?) never happened, and the rebound one that did didn't last. However, Glen and I have been together for 33 years now, for better or for worse, without that pesky document thing. Theatre, however, has remained constant I worked with Newport theatre companies for years, and it was good; when the local theatre scene dried up in the eighties, I turned to children's theatre, where I remain. I am Artistic Director of the Newport Children's Theatre, and I direct shows personally once a year, at Christmastime.
