Linda's Story
After high school, I went to ACC for occupational therapy assisting. I worked in a group home and then at Woodbine Developmental Center with mentally challenged persons, while attending Stockton State where I received a BA in Psychology in 87. I decided to go back to college again in 1988, this time for a BS in occupational therapy. that journey took me to College Misericordia (now Misericordia University) in Dallas, PA. I met my husband in 1989, graduated from CM in 1990 and got married in 1991. We have two children, David and Rachel, born in 1993 and 1994 respectively. ng as a school-based occupational therapist since 1993 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. In 2000, I went back to school ... again....to Wilkes University where I completed an MS in Education in 2002 (curriculum development)and again in 2004 (classroom technology). Currently, I spend some of my time seeing the AAA SWB Railriders (baseball) and Minor league hockey (WBS Penguins) with my son. I also spend time visiting my daughter in college in Erie, PA...and moving her stuff in and out......My husband and I like to travel the USA, but since I'm still working, we don't go as much as we would like. Life's been good and I'm still enjoying the adventure.
