Linda's Story
ok, here we go. After hs graduation I went to Normandale JC ,and the U of M St. Paul campus and finally ended up with my B.S. degree. All but the last year of that I lived at home.
In 1972 I married Dave Erb, also a Richfield gradrate. By 1974 we had a townhouse in Eagan and in April of '75 Heather was born. In 1978 we purchased a house in Eagan and Jason was just 1 year old. When H and J went off to school just the black lab and I were home and starring at each other. I went to work and by 1982 Christopher was born. d on. When two are in braces at the same time it can hurt. Then when they go to college, ugh. They all graduated and went on for further schooling. During that time my family was dying one after the other and I was closing house after house and learning much about probate, wills etc.
These days two out of the three kids are married and we are patiently waiting for a grandchild. Just as I was about to go back into the work force my husband was diagnosed with a rare cancer this past February. He has gotten excellent results from the chemo but still waiting to here if he will need any more treatments. Life is fragile. I don't think I'll go back to work just yet.
