Linda's Story
Life
I grew up on Ethel Avenue, a tree-lined street in Alhambra California where kids still had empty lots to explore and when cops and robbers was still an acceptable fantasy to play out. I went to Marguerita Elementary School and then to Alhambra High School where I graduated in 1960. From there it was on to college. With only 18 units left to finish, I found myself waltzing down the aisle. Four children, two of whom were twins, blessed my life and then it was back to Cal Stat...Expand for more
e L.A. where I eared a Bachelor's Degree in English. A few severe bumps in the road appeared but time worked most things out, and today finds me permanently residing just 7 minutes from Southern California's beautiful beach lined coast. I was called back to work at the USC School of Medicine, so I head south and homeward on the weekends and spend my work weeks in La Crescenta, a close jaunt to the University. Until the Lotto falls in my lap, I believe I have the best of all worlds.
