Linda's Story
My favorite things in High School were "Pappy" Holcomb's speech class, being editor of the Pennant, and being a member of the Red Coats.
After graduation I was hired by Shell Oil Company as an "Office Girl" and attended the University of Houston in the evenings. After 3 years at Shell I married and went to work for Continental Oil Company as File Supervisor.''
My first marriage lasted 10 years. I eventually became an executive secretary at Conoco. My second marriage to Jack Reynolds lasted until his death in 2002. We had ...Expand for more
two sons.
My second son was born in London, where we lived for 10 years. We resided in Lakeway, Texas outside of Austin when we returned to the States. We were actively involved in establishing the Lake Travis School District.
I returned to college at St. Edwards in Austin and graduated Summa Com Laude in 1993. (Better late than never.)
My sister and I co-wrote and published a book, "Butterflied Don't Sting" (a murder mystery) in 2007.
I now reside in Studio City, CA in order to be near by two granddaughters, ages 11 and 6.
