Linda's Story
Since joining Classmates, I have meant to find the time to write alittle about my life since high school. I keep thinking the older I get the more time I will have. So far that has not happened! Let me share alittle of my life.
My greatest joy are my children and now my grandchildren. I had 4 children total, 3 girls and 1 boy. From that came 9 grandchildren. My oldest grandson is 20, and my youngest grandchild almost 2 years old.
We moved to San Antonio 25 years ago this coming August,so this indeed is home! Moving to San Antonio with 4 children ranging from 10 to 14 years old was a real adjustment! I was a stay at home Mom and loving it! 2 years after the move I went through a divorce and had to hit the workplace.

h school, I decided to return to school and went into nursing. After graduation I hit the road running. My life long dream had come true and I was ready to live that dream!
As wonderful and fulfilling as dreams can be, life will also give us a few nightmares. My worst nightmare was in 2001. My 1 and only son left this earth at the age of 27. Most definitely the lowest point in my life. A child should not die before their parents! The pain and loss become a part of life. Life as we once knew will never be the same. My deep faith carried me through those dark days and continues to do so.
Today I continue working. I am a pediatric nurse and find great joy in my work! To make a small difference in someones life every day brings such joy and fulfillment!
