Linda's Story
Work
After working in banking for ten years I was hired by a art department and made use of all those art classes.
This creative work began when I went to work for a military contractor to do work for the US Navy. I was a Technical Information Specialist (artist) for the Department of Defense for 15 years. al medias and photo retouching, creating brochures, presentations and charts on a computer.
The opportunity to retire early (sadly due to my husband illness and passing) encouraged me to pursue my fine art and since then I have had gallery shows, group shows,and an one woman show in a museum gallery. My latest artistic direction has been creating jewelry using silver clay, plein aire painting and teaching art/crafts or writing for an e-zine or my blog.
