Linda's Story
I married when I was 16. Big mistake. The only good thing that came out of that 6.5 year marriage was my daughter Trisha. She is my life. The rest of the 6.5 years consisted of fear and bruises. I did not remarry for another 2.5 years and that was to a recovering alcholic and drug addict with over 10 years of sobriety. That was an interesting marriage for 3 years. I met many new friends and my husband and I parted as friends, but with my daughter and his son being raised two different ways, they came between us. ...Expand for more
I promised myself I would not remarry until my daughter was grown. I kept that promise. I worked 2,3 4 and sometimes 5 jobs in order to raise her on my own. But I did it. She turned out to be the best daughter you could have. She is now my best friend. I would not trade all that I went through to get her to where she is today. I remained single for over 8 years, until I met my current husband to whom I have been married to for over 12 years now. Please find me on FACEBOOK. I do not come to this site very often.
