Linda's Story
Life
I had a wonderful career teaching High School English and Art History in Lexington KY for 27 years after completing undergraduate and graduate work at University of Kentucky. I am married, and have two sons ages 18 and 21. I have a Dalmatian who is my constant companion. I am now retired and work summers in the Daniel Boone National Forest as a campground host/manager, and am a US Forest Service Volunteer. My second career is scheduled to begin in the spring. otography (producing a calendar, notecards and entering art shows). I do not have a TV, and I never go to movies. I am an excellent cook according to my family and friends.
I have traveled to Europe, but am just as happy hiking trails in Kentucky. I visit my "old stomping grounds" only occasionally. To me, North, East, and West are merely directions, but South is a way of life. My accent is definitely a Southern one.
I believe that people who live close to nature better understand themselves, their fellow man, and God.
