My bio:
Linda graduated from LHS in 1968. She later attended the University of FL and the University of MD. She is a Walter Reed Army Institute of Nursing graduate and served 20 years in ...Expand for more
the US Army Nurse Corps, retiring as a LTC.
She completed graduate work in Education and Public Health before getting her doctorate in women's health. She is currently retired (again!) Her career positions included being a professor at the Univ of Maryland; VP of United Information Systems; President and CEO of the American Social Health Association; VP of Women's Health for Digene Corporation and QIAGEN Corporation.
She and Jim Alexander live in Chapel Hill, NC where their two sons, Will and David also reside with their families. She enjoys being a grandmother (x3!) and doing volunteer work. She currently serves as Chair, Board of Directors for Women Deliver.
