Linda's Story

Life I graduated from the U. of Mn. after attending UMD for three of those years. Married Bill Thuet in 1969. He has been a district judge based in Dakota County for 24 years and he is counting the months to retirement!! We have 1 son and 2 daughters who are all in the Twin City area. We consider us very lucky to share in their adult lives. I worked for Hennepin County Welfare Dept. after graduation. When our children came along I did not work for 12 years. ner and I did a lot of displays and arranging which after 8 years, eventually led to working in a flower shop as a designer.Working for someone else is so much easier!! I still work the peek floral holidays and am on call when they need help. I found my nitch! We now have 5 of the most wonderful grand children on earth! They keep me laughing at all their antics. Our entire family loves our cabin on Bone Lake near Luck, Wisconsin. This will be our 33rd. summer there!! Many of our most treasured moments as a family have occured at this location. We hope to have many more! College I went to UMD for three years-transferred to the main U. and graduated with a degree in sociology.
