Linda's Story
After graduating, I got married, had a baby, moved to Ohio, went to nursing school. In that order. Had another baby, got divorced. In my spare time, I like to write short stories. The novel might come later.
I am remarried and live in Al.
After working in all aspects of nursing, I decided to teach for awhile, and got a job on the faculty at a local college.
I love to cook with my grandchildren, and I am now doing volunteer work with hospice.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that...Expand for more
was a joke idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
Sometimes I yell at my husband, who is hard of hearing
The heros that come to mind are the passengers on flight 93.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the bathroom and add on a spa tub. My dream home would be in the mountains.
They sure keep me young. They don't see me as getting older
My current age is 58. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be totally bedridden. I was so completely wrong.
I share my home with my husband and 2 dogs, which I find comforting.
