Linda's Story

I have been married since 1975 and have two grown children (both own their own homes nearby). My husband & I love racing sailboats. In fact, we are so competitive that we each have our own J27 (a 27 foot cabin boat) and actually race against each other on Wednesday nights at Lake Lanier in Ga. ly annually as well. We live in Suwanee, Ga. My family (mother, 5 brothers & 2 sisters) still live in Florida, while one of my 6 brothers lives in NC. Our children are also in the metro area of Atlanta (Decatur and Norcross). In 1987, I had the battle of my life. I was within a month from death, when I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease. After major surgery and 6 months of chemo, I have been cancer free. Life is great!
